Oak Glen

Josh surprised me and took the day off of work. We drove up to Oak Glen had carmel apples and just hung out. It was really fun! Eli loves playing outside, it was almost impossible for him to put down this stick to take a picture.

It was a little cold, so Josh zipped up Evangeline in his jacket.

Just an ordinary day at the White house....NOT!

Yes, it is a bat and he is alive. The crazy wind blew huge palm leaves in our pool. As Josh was removing them he found this little guy on the leaf floating in the pool. At first we thought he was dead, but then we saw him breathing. I had to get a picture, but I was too scared to get close enough so Josh took these so I could post them! We went out for the night and when we returned....gone. He is probably back in our palm trees.

Pumpkin Patch

Not so nice Eli. But he made up for it with this adorable face! This month is so fun visiting different Pumpkin Patches. This one is located off of Rancho Calif. Rd toward the winery's. It's called Peltzer's Farm. Good place for pictures. We went with some friends of ours and their little girl, Olivia! This patch also had a fun corn maze that the kids loved to run through.

Fall is here!

I can't believe how Blue Evangeline's eyes are. I so hope they stay that way. Eli's changed to dark chocolate brown by six months. She is seven months and they are bright ocean blue still! We love Julianne! She came over to teach me a new recipe, Blonde Brownies. Soooo good! Here is Josh flipping Eli and my niece Carley. Just an ordinary day at Papa G and Nana's!

Child Labor?

Eli drew on the window with crayon. I made him clean it, he actually like cleaning. We got him a Kaleo shirt from our retreat. It's a little big, but he will grow into probably sooner than we would like. He took his chair from outside and put it on the coffee table to watch T.V.

Joshua Tree Retreat 09

We had a fabulous time in Joshua Tree. The hike is a blast with lots of bonding time as we depended on each other to get through the whole hike:) It's amazing to get away from city lights and see the stars, I mean really see the stars!

We learned about God's character in Isaiah 40

"12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?"

Good things in life #3

Baptism's

This is one of the best days in my life. Along with getting married and having children. Seeing my parents get baptized has been an answer to prayer! I can't wait till we can worship God face to face in eternity together!

Homemade Pizza

We made homemade bbq chicken pizza. Trader Joes has cheap and tasty pizza dough! We had a fun family night making pizza then making homemade apple-cinnamon rolls for dessert. Don't you wish you were at the White house!! Josh used to work for Papa Johns. He's a pro at tossing a pizza! Well, close to a pro:) Eli kept sneaking bites of apples that we used in our cinnamon rolls. Finished product! Yummy!

Funny's

Josh found this funny website where people post pictures of their creative ways they fix things. There are many interesting ideas out there.

There I fixed it!

I think he's tired

Bath time

I love comparing pictures of each kid! Evangeline doesn't laugh as easy as Eli did when he was a baby. It takes a lot to get her to laugh, but when she does it is so cute!
